It's OK, bud. I ship to Austria, all is good. Get those Euros ready and I'll take care of you. Just send me some pictures of the countryside, I've heard it's beautiful there!

Here are a few pics of the latest S.A.F.E. System II Kodiak knife I recently finished. I would put all the specs, but I have posted these numerous times before so those that are interested probably know. As always, happy to answer any questions.

Unfortunately, due to a deal similar to that in the past, I'm now on several Watch Lists, so I just take money nowadays. But I appreciate the offer.:confused:o_O

Here's a S.A.F.E. System II recently completed. This one has also been coated in clear GunKote on the blasted portions of the knife. Really a nice finish. This one also came with the Basic Survival Kit. Ready for some survivalin'!

Here are a few of my latest prototype, the L.I.T. Knife (Lightweight Incendiary, Tinder). I will put in a more detailed description later, but here's a pic or two.

The basic idea was for a puukko (great practical and general use knives) with a hollow handle. But I wanted a micarta handle, instead of cord wrap. So the micarta allows me to give it an ovoid shape, which is very comfortable and no hot spots. Came out even better than I hoped.

Thanks, Strigidae! Me too, it really fits the hand and feels comfortable. And it's light! I will have more pics and video soon. Great little user model, priced reasonably. Thank you!

Thank you! Possibly. I've been working on it, but there are some inherent limitations. I have a different concept in the works right now for other models, so we'll see. :)

Here are a few more pics, along with some specs. The concept for the L.I.T. Knife (pronounced "lit," lol; Lightweight Incendiary, Tinder) was a lightweight utility knife utilizing a puukko style blade, as they are very effective and practical performers.

The goal was to keep the weight as low as possible, while also circumventing the usual necessity for a cord wrapped handle and at the same time providing a source of ignition for fire starting. The L.I.T. knife has a 5/16" diameter firesteel fixed in the buttcap with just enough room left over for a little bit of tinder, satisfying those requirements.

The micarta handle is ovoid in shape, thus preventing rolling in the hand while still eliminating hot spots. It also provides all the benefits of a traditional micarta handle, such as grip and insulation from heat/cold.

I'm fairly pleased with how it came out, and the weight was held down to under 5 oz for the knife (with firesteel in handle), and under 7 oz for knife and sheath together.
