These guys were hit with a crap load of cease and desist letters a few years back for stealing a bunch of peoples pictures and using them to sell their items. Items which are never properly titled, and never accredit the actual maker. They actually tried to justify their use of others pictures for profitable gain without permission, even after the cease and desists. I know a few people personally who had to deal with them. After the onslaught of legal warnings, they completely deleted their site, all of their social media, and disappeared for the past few years. Until now apparently. Just seeing that these *people* are back raises my blood pressure. Apparently they don't know how to use a freaking axe either, as made obvious by this photo from their site.
I did like seeing a camp bellows for sale somewhere finally. I've thought about buying one, but I'm on the verge of tossing out an old boombox that I'll steal the antenna from.
I picked these up at an outfitter and they're made by the same crew as Bad Bee Fire Fuses. They went from a novelty to constant fire kit component real quick. https://www.amazon.com/Epiphany-Outdoor-Gear-V3-Pocket-Bellow/dp/B00LDSW5BA As for Bushsmarts I was out when I saw that pocket game kit for like$25. To each their own, but that's not my jam.
5col has the pocket bellows as well, they are on my Christmas list this year lol. As far as bushsmarts, 75 bucks for a sven saw with a piece of leather on the handle!!!???? I can go down to my local mom and pop hardware store and get a sven saw for 30 bucks! it seems like they rebrand every thing so people don't realize how badly they are getting ripped off.
Some of that stuff is quality but can be found from someone I'd trust more. The sheath knife and Roselli axe can be found at Ragnar's for less and I'd trust his judgment on quality. Take a look at those patches. They look like someone cut felt and glued it together. The "books" in the library are all staplebound, which works for camping since you don't want to carry a heavy book but at least put a little class on it. Its basically kraft paper. At least get some glossy paper for your covers. I like that they're working on getting folks out into the wilderness to enjoy what God gave us, but if you grew up in Brooklyn without any chance to get out of the city until now maybe you should go with a guide. Or volunteer with the Boy Scouts.
