    I ordered my sheath this weekend that looks great! How is the retention on the exotac? I ordered mine for the firerod

    Retention is really good....but I would imagine over time it will open up a little with pulling it out and putting it back in. I'm going to put a little keeper loop on mine so it's extra secure.

    Nice ^. Good to know about the new pouches having velcro, too. I've got a fire bag and kit 'survival kit' in my cart right now...

    Took the haversack for a hike in the Wasatch the other day. It carried stuff good.

    That is awesome @Hammer can you fit two side by side? I’m wanting a fishing kit to go in one. I plan on ordering the pouch next week or so.

    Playing around with gear this afternoon, I found that the HPG bottle pouch works pretty well on the haversack. I think it probably works best if you don't use a bottle that's too tall (18 0z bottle pictured):
