So for the last few years I've been more of a hammock guy, but I'm trying hard to get the whole family (4 people) out into the woods.

Need suggestions of a good (not break the bank) 4 person 3 season tent that would be light enough to pack (I'm trying hard to keep things from being a glamping trip) but large enough for two adults, two kids under 10, gear and bug sealed so either an complete in bug net or a complete one piece tent with good ventilation.

A tent of that size is going to be heavy unless you spend money for the high dollar ones. Just a fyi but besides that look at Kelty tents. They do make good stuff without breaking the bank.

Ive recently turned into a hammock guy. My suggestion would be to convert your family. Hammock's for everyone! It would probably be cheaper than an ultralight 4 person tent. Your talking 500 or more dollars for a high quality tent that big.
