so I am looking at the hammock gear economy burrow as my next large purchase. I was thinking a 0 degree and a 40 degree. I was wondering if anyone knew how small they pack down with a compression bag? I can’t find a video or much detail. Thanks in advance.

I did the hammock thing and it definitely had a couple of advantages that I really liked but in the end it was easier and just as much weight for me to use my tent setup. Big Agnes Fly Creel UL1 with a ultralight NeoAir pad and down bag.

I haven’t fully decided on a full hammock setup yet. I do however like the top quilts. Currently, I’m a ground sleeper but mummy bags are horrible for me. I have a nice cold weather rectangle bag but it’s bulky and heavy. I’m wanting to save bulk and weight and upgrade. The top quilts I like when I borrowed a buddies. So it’s more about the quilt and packability over the hammock for now.... that being said...

    What you got? Lol

You can use quilts as a ground dweller, so long as you have a decent pad. I don’t own a sleeping bag anymore, just a 50* and 30* quilt. The picture to the left is a quilt, Exped UL 7, and a bivy under a tarp.

Check out Enlightened Equipment, I like their quits a lot.

Thanks that’s my plan is to buy a quilt over a bag and still ground camp. I’ve checked out their gear and have heard good things but was really looking for specific detail on the hammock gear burrow. I tried google searching and looking at YouTube reviews but they didn’t give me too much of an idea for the 0degree size when in a stuff sack. I found some info on the 40 and the 20. Thanks

Woah woah woah. Remember that delicious food we brought you and @JV3 when my old roommate were learning to camp! I’ll take a hammock if it’ll hold me haha

Okay. Thank you. I never knew of the other comments after mine posted. We'll have to see which way this goes.
