More of a new accessory. Been waiting on this to come in for a while. The elite iron revolution bipod. This is the best bipod I’ve used. Probably the only one that compares was the factory Sako TRG bipod. They share a lot of design elements but this one has a lot more versatility in mounting.
Gen2 17 !! I had a Gen 1 for many many years (it pre-dated the application of the serial number on the frame) that I shot the bejesus out of !!!
just finished my bcm build this is how my light is usually located on my rifles and how my support hand is positioned (i'm a lefty). ...but i decided to copy larry vickers and installed the light at 12 o'clock and farther out (it's a 12" rail compared to the 10" above)...i'm liking it a lot as a first impression - there's no shadow caused by the barrel anymore and it's ambi already so i canceled the tape switch order which is always a bonus there's less stuff on it... i guess i'll see long term if the light gets covered in soot faster or not.
^ hey Brother! if your concerned about carbon build upon the flashlight lens, check these out! https://thyrm.com/product/clens-protector/ i think this is EXACTLY what you need for you kick azz rig!
awesome...thanks! i have the surefire clear caps but i only put it on my pistol for range trips since it won't fit in the holster with it on...that thyrm works 24/7.
Going to post up my EDC photo of my G43, it was apparently good enough for CountyComm's mailer because they used it in their most recent one.
Nothing fancy just a new sig p320c in 9mm, hopefully I'll get out to the range soon. Excited to see what it can do and the modularity is interesting to me, it's nearly the cost of another gun to get a caliber x-change kit through sig but it is nice that I can get one shipped to my door step anywhere in the country with out having to go through an FFL...
Finally got to the elite iron revolution bipod 1. It’s expensive. Too expensive. I got a decent deal on a used one and it was still expensive. But it is one of if not the best built bipod I’ve seen. 2. Installation is easy. And it’s meant to be used in multiple rifles as you can fit the mounting base to multiple rifles. Unscrew the retaining but and swap it out. The mounts are expensive about the same as a Harris bipod, but it is one of the best bipods I’ve used. 3. My favorite bipod to date is the Sako TRG bipod. Which is also I ask my expensive but designed to only work with the TRG stock or the whiskey 3 stock or a custom mount made in Finland designed for the Sako m10 which to import is about $300 alone for the adapter. Even with all that the Sako bipod had been my favorite. This is every bit as good and with versatility being considered and the ability to easily control the tension on the can’t makes it even better 4, it is immensely stable. The feet grip there is just the right amount of play in it to get a good forward press to preload the bipod. 5. The legs deploy like the Sako TRG and the atlas. Which makes it stable but slower then the Harris style. I like that it is quieter then the Harris and you have 90* 45* and 180* leg positions in both directions. 6 did I mention it’s expensive. But you get what you pay for the only question is do you need it. Or do you just want it and if so get it. I don’t think you will regret it.
