That's hard core... I think you may have talked me into it! Everyone I've talked to only has good things to say about Path Finder. 70 miles in one week is no joke. You were probably 20 shades of haggard. lol
Pathfinder is a great program. Since you have some events under your belt sign up for Endure or Advanced. The program is so good it almost satisfies for an event.
Thanks for the heads up! I'll start looking into it tonight. September will be here before I know it, and I want to do well. Looks like I'll be harrassing you for AAR's and advice now. lol
Yeah, the dreaded training plate. I also run a full 3 liter Source bladder, full Nalgene, and everything else I'd normally take for an event. It comes out to about 60 lbs. It sucks, but when I throw the regular 30 lbs. plate in there with my 2 liter event bladder my ruck feels light as a pillow. lol
Mind games. I do it too. Ive got duct taped up bags of shot that i parceled out to 2.5# a piece to be able to fine tune how much pain id like.
They say the hardest part is signing up... ill tell you thats BS. The hardest part is not signing up for another one in a month.
It's been on my bucket list for some time. On a whim I checked for one near me and they're doing one in my city, followed the next day by a Light that I didn't sign up for. I've got one buddy gung-ho about joining me and I'm working on more.
