I don't know what I want... just don't wanna get stuck with another anemic vehicle like my Outback. The 2.7L twin turbo is an upgrade from the base. Figured ~325hp is good enough for my use. I'm gonna test drive one tomorrow and see...
@Zeek Mr. @Bcamos is currently en route to his new home in Texas so it may be a bit until he chimes in. He got rid of his ecoboost and went with the 6.7 Powerstroke for a reason. I’ve got 2 Superduty’s for a reason. Most guys may not need them so it’s understandable to go with a 150 instead but I’d go with the big ecoboost or the coyote. Personally, I like less moving parts so I’d go 5.0/302 coyote over the turbo because there’s no boost involved and less things to go wrong. K.I.S.S right? The coyote in my dad’s is pretty damn quick, sounds great, and he gets pretty solid mpg on the highway with it.
@Zeek Unless you get the 3.5 Raptor twin turbo you'll be disappointed with the power/performance. Go with the 5.0
I've heard a lot of good things about that 6.7. If y'all will buy a few more cleavers, I can get my 250 King Ranch!
I’m after a new 450 Platinum. I’d sell both of my current Superduty’s to do it but the wife convinced me to get a 2019 Mustang this spring instead.
Yes but it’s only because she just doesn’t want me spending $110k on a truck. She’d rather have me spend $45k on a Mustang that she’ll be stealing the keys to when I’m not around.
I might do the same thing then. I like that tactic. Except I’ll substitute a Porsche Panamera for the Mustang.
I love VW's. If VW would import the California to the US, I'd be the first one standing in line with a fistful of sticker and cleaver money!
