I picked up a GVX 7800 for $ 7.95 , the light is free you just pay shipping:rolleyes: The thing if freaking bright. It is brighter that my 4 D cell Maglite with a Malkoff insert in it. It has low, medium, high beams as well as strobe and S.O.S. the head slides to allow for flood or tight focused beam. it will run on 3 AAA's, 2 CR 123's or an 18450? It does not come with any directions but for less than 8 bucks it is a deal in my book. I think that I posted a link in the old forum. I'll look and if not I will find it. I am fairly certain that it was purchased from Survival kit .com.

The D25c has been my EDC for almost 3 years, but the Maratac Ti v4 has recently replaced it.

The D25a and e12 are both knife/pouch lights and the T200c2 is usually on my 12ga.

Got a few LED maglights and some other random flashlights and a Black Diamond headlamp in the truck.

I'd like to pick up a Maratac AA v4 and maybe the AAA Flood lights soon; those li'l bastards are pretty cool.

I'm pretty much a Malkoff junkie these days. Sold off many brighter lights in favor of neutral white tints, high CRI, long run times and battery versatility. Being made in the USA is also a major plus and you won't find better customer service in the industry.

I have a few goodies out for delivery today. A Malkoff MDC 16650 body tube, a couple Malkoff M series drop-ins, VME heads to use drop-ins on Malkoff MDC bodies and Surefire E series bodies, and a few other random things.

In the pic I have a Malkoff MD2 with a high/low ring and an M361N drop-in. 6 levels of output from sub-lumen to the 375 lumen high. The Surefire 6P has an M61NL drop-in. 130 lumens of beautiful neutral white. Bottom left is a Malkoff MDC 16650 neutral, my favorite flashlight. 3 levels of output, 20/100/500 lumens. Bottom right is a Malkoff MDC 1AA Nichia 219B V2. 3 levels out output, .3/8/70 lumens. That light blow me away. Not bright by any means, but the high CRI makes up for it.

I'm looking for something solid, small enough to just throw in pocket, and AA or AAA. Something brass maybe? Can anyone point me in the right direction.

^ 4SEVENS "ATOM" series in stainless steel, "AA", and your choice of flood or spot.

Low and high settings, not much output but it's all you need. In camp in pitch black darkness it was plenty of light.

It's just a bit longer than an "AA" cell. And it's solid. Feels like its a solid piece of steel, but super smooth.

Pics when photobucket gets their crap together

Thanks @RocketmanDane for starting this thread. Have a bunch but usually carry Lenslights (KO's & MINI's) or Maratacs (CR123 & AAA). My favorites are Lenslight MINI's that take 1-CR123 or the Maratac CR123's only available in Stainless & Copper right now. I also carry the Maratac AAA's in titanium, brass, or copper on my key chains, they are really light & bright for a AAA light. I'll probably be posting here daily so watch out!!!! Lenslight MINI Polished Ti TAD Edition today.

I just posted a review on LENSLIGHT lights in the Reviews section of the forum at: http://www.eseeknives.com/forums/index.php?threads/lenslight-flashlights-review.259/

My LensLight Collection, all but the copper are Triple Aught Design Editions. Small lights are single CR123 called MINI's, larger lights are 2xCR123 called KO's. Still on the hunt for a polished titanium KO TAD edition and a copper MINI to complete my collection. All of these are rotated and carried regularly with absolutely no issues to date. For a lot more detailed pics and info on these lights, check out the review. Thanks. Gary

An updated Malkoff family pic. The only thing missing is a Surefire 6P with an M61N, that is mounted on my AR.

    From left to right:

    MDC 1AA 219B V2, MDC HA 1AA, MDC neutral XP-L 16650, MDC 16650 body with an M61N in a VME head, MD2 with an M361N and a high/low ring, Surefire 6P with an M61LL 219B V2, and a Surefire 6P with an M61NL.

I do have another M61NL on the way that I will install in a VME head and use on the MDC HA 1AA body, with a 14500 battery. I don't care for the cool white tint on that one, so I figured I'll at least try to get some use out of the body.

Been carrying the new Maratac peanut on my keychain since I got it about a month ago. Perfect EDC for my purposes. Was carrying the ti aaa rev 3 previously. The peanut is high @ 145 lumens for 25 min or low @ 12 lumens for 6 hours. Takes a 10180 battery but comes with a a charging cap so it's a complete kit. Weighs 13.5 g with battery. Extra batteries are cheap through CC, and I've yet to need to charge the battery I've been using. A whopping 1.29" long and 0.52" diameter. Have a bunch more flashlights at home I can add later. I don't have any trouble recommending this one.
