Favorite BBQ sauce

    Here's a quick breakdown for my northern brethren:

    NC: Ketchup-based BBQ (Western) or Vinegar Based (Eastern)
    SC: Mustard-based
    AL: Mayonaise-based

    Texas, Kansas City, Memphis, etc.--I have no idea what those people do; that's not real bbq anyway.

    Had the white stuff at Saw's in Birmingham, thought it was better suited for pasta? Yuck!!!!

    Although that did give me an idea to try the white sauce on pasta just to see. I bet with some blackened shrimp thrown in and a couple of chunks of italian sausage, that would make a heck of a good dish.

    Nc vinegar based sauce on pulled pork is good.

    That is all I use on pulled pork. Ribs it's Montgomery inn.

    Big Bob Gibson's. It's as close to SmokeyC's as you can get. SmokeyC's for my first choice!!

    head country is easily my favorite. plus its a well known fact that anything made in
    Oklahoma is automatically the best :D
