Holy sheep **** batman! That's a pricy knife. I'm glad to see the Esee crew giving the Busse crowd a run for their money.

On a serious note, that's one of the better counterfeits I've seen. The knife dimensions look pretty damn spot on. They must have a lot invested in making it look right to sell at that price.

The photos are a genuine ESEE 4. Although it states "stainless" at the top if you go to near the bottom is says "1095 carbon steel". This may be a genuine seller. We do have a dealer in China.))

I bought my Esee 4 through Amazon on Black Friday. How would I know if it is fake?

Yep, that appears to be a genuine ESEE knife. Just from looking at the sheath, clip plate and the knife details. In the past we have exported a lot of knives to mainland China, so probably one of those.

The surest way to avoid fakes is to buy only from the dealers listed on our web page. We do not sell direct to Amazon but there are legitimate dealers who have an Amazon store. Their name will appear on Amazon as the seller and they will also be listed on our web site. If Amazon is the seller then I have no idea how to know what they are selling. There have only been a couple of counterfeit ESEE 3 and ESEE 4 knives show up so it isn't likely the one you bought is counterfeit.
