Ok, I know everyone looks forward to these.

    Here is the unboxing,
    [IMG]

    That was fun!

Making some big sticks smaller, some feathering, and some bark scraping,

Different angle, same basic shot with some sun,

Still pretty cold here, needing some heat,

    @Lostviking
I have basically the same setup but in all orange.

    I absolutely love it!

The only thing I really did to it was dremel a good clean/ square section on top for Fero Rod use :)

Finally got around to doing the spacer mod on my PR4, bought the material 2 years ago ha ha ha. Love the blade, and the thinner profile. It nests nicely stacked behind my Binos on my chest rig. Did not like how it bit into my hand when doing lots of heavy cutting. The spacers add just enough to the handle It should help while keeping the profile thin-ish.

I have no idea whos cat this is, just showed up and hangs out in my shop. Im normally not a cat person but this guy is quite the character and hunts mice.

Took the PR4 on a walk today looking for materials for a few projects.
And fire stuff, always looking for more fire stuff!

Skinned a stick for a walking stick this evening.

Even with liners, the scales are pretty narrow and hot spotted my hand pretty good. I put on gloves and it completely changed the way the knife was cutting. I'm guessing the lack of pain allowed me to apply a lot more pressure to my cuts.

I'm considering a set of TKC scales for it now to see how that changes the knife.

Mine's got TKC scales and they're fantastic. Definitely a huge improvement over the factory scales for me.

I have PR4 and I can't imagine how you have a hot spot in your hands!
Yes, the scales are a little thinner, but they are not uncomfortable at all.
I like the idea that the handles are not bulky, but at the same time quite comfortable.
The knife sits securely in the hand and it is very comfortable to work with it in any position.
One thing I will admit is that the leather sheath is absolutely ... not good.
Luckily I can make my own much better.
