I think this combo is one of the easiest and most affordable cooking sets you can find. It's not the best or the lightest, but cheap and easy. Let me know what you guys think.

I got rid of my jetboil after I got this cook set. It is a bit heavy but I like having the cups. I use it with a msr pocket stove but I like how versatile it is

What is the boil time on the Stanley with a Esbit fire tablet?

I use the Stanley cook set a decent amount usually just over fire. I swap the plastic tab on the lid for a key ring

Same here. I've also been meaning to add a bail but never think of doing it when I'm not in the woods using it.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I plan on changing out the plastic tab too. I'm thinking of wrapping snare wire around to make a ring and then attach it to the lid. Dual use, a ring/tab for the lid and if need be, I'll have snare wire.
