    Don't forget the LandCruisers are reverse engineered jeeps. so essentially the jeep is the LandCruisers daddy

    Unfortunately over here they are all rotted or cost an arm and a leg. I'd take a fzj80 if I found the right one.

    Mine is a HJZ80 (diesel) and I am loathe to think of anything that I would realistically replace it with. Seriously looking at a 76 series but I would spend $50K and still have a truck that was only marginally more capable (and that is also arguable) for my needs than my 80.

    There's a nasty old FJ55 for sale near me for $600. If I had the time, money, and shop space I'd totally restore that pig and throw a diesel in it.
