So what does RECCE stand for. This stuff is a foreign language to me. I speak Spanish better than I speak Tactical. And that's not all that good.
Recon. I think it's a brit thang. It sure as hell has blown up though. Everybody is selling a Recce version of their rifles now.
Basically the seals in house armorer's put enhanced triggers in an M4 lower and swapped the 14.5" M4 barrels for a 16" match grade midlength gas medium weight contour barrel so they could fulfill a sniper's role while still being cqc capable. I just like accurate rifles I can build myself, and I've been wanting something lighter for a walking rifle for coyote and hog hunting. The "recce" concept fit that bill for me perfectly.
