We went over and visited Devil's Tower again this past Saturday. I find it rather fascinating that it seems to be more impressive every time I see it. I guess it's the fact that I notice something new each time.

It's really hard to see because I had to zoom in with my phone camera but there are climbers up there.

This was an awesome rig some German couple was cruising around in. I wanted to check it out closer but they had just had a group leave so I left them alone.

Nice. We took a trip out west back in '95 and visited Devil's Tower among other places. I would love to get back out that way someday.

yeah, it was pretty badass (the camper). I wish I could have checked it out closer but oh well.

it makes me want to buy a big assed truck and build a camper on the back of it. LOL

Visited the Tower last summer. Bucket list place along with the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore.
The walk around the base is spectacular, as is seeing it from miles away. We see all sorts of bad ass rigs out and about.

Indeed. One of my favorite things when driving by on I90 is to look for it. You can't see it at all, if you're heading West, until you come down out of the hills and get past Moorcroft. Then as everything flattens out if you watch back to the northeast it will pop into view for a while. It has to be clear and sunny and it will stand out perfectly on the horizon. Pretty awesome.
