The title says it all! Pretty much want to see what you're practicing, what you've made, or what you've come up with. Traditional deadfalls to unconventional snares. Modern MacGyvered traps to old styled fish catches. Let's see em all! (As long as it's one you've made) (Know the legality of trapping/snaring in your area. In many places it may be illegal for you to trap/snare/catch animals in primitve/homemade traps.) I'll get the ball rolling with a couple I taught this last weekend Live catch net trap invinted by my friend Mike Lowe (former AF SERE instructor). The engine is paracord on each end of the bow twisted around the center post, thus creating a "slamming" motion when triggered Super simple trap shown to me by my friend Donny Dust (primitve skills expert) called a pebble deadfall. Post stick is intended to be balanced on a round pebble, but as there was a lack of round rocks in this area my friend Chad Keel came up with the idea to use a bit of wood. Thus the rolling stick deadfall was born. And lastly had some practice with the traditional Paiute Deadfall (used yucca cordage on this example). This one is a little larger than I like but was built for demonstration purposes, and still works great Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
