Culinary Goodness

Pretty basic tonight. Fresh striped bass filets done in the air fryer with New Orleans style breading (supposedly) and Cracker Barrel mac n cheese that I jazzed up with extra shredded cheese and some BBQ dry rub. I seriously love that air fryer.

 

We do 90% of our cooking in the air fryer. Ours is a faberware with the same layout as yours. One of my favorite things to make is shake & bake cubed pork. i quit doing pork chops because the breading is always soggy from all the juice. I use a combination of shake and bake and seasoned flour like House autry's. The biggest problem I have is keeping the breading from sticking to the basket and peeling off the food. I started cooking it on the rack instead.

 

I’m picking up some milk fed pork chops from my butcher today. I may try them in the air fryer. And I’ll do them on the rack so they don’t stick. Thanks for the heads up!

 

We LOVE OUR AIR FRYER!!! it’s amazing lol we have the ninja that’s also a pressure cooker

 

I bought the Foodi but couldn’t stand the lid being up when I wanted to use the pressure cooker part !

 

Prime ribeye on a 500° grill. 4 minutes per side makes for a perfect med rare.

 

Frozen pizza with morels. Genius, or blasphemy? Either way, pretty good.

 

no idea as I’ve never been lucky enough to try morels

Oh that takes all the fun out of it! It's like fishing. Tastes better when you got it yourself!

 

I’m not sure we get them here and I wouldn’t know where to look or the weather/time of year, etc.

 

proper .. salt, pepper, and fire. No other ingredients necessary for a prime steak.
