I don't even feel bad for enabling you guys. It's an amazing knife. We all need at least one.

Definitely.. Was already planning on it.. Wet form, probably dye and then bees wax finish.. :) Will probably just use the Kydex sheath once it arrives..
Loving it so far though.. Used it to pick and prep some herbs in the yard this evening, for dinner..

I wet formed mine...coated the blade in vasoline first after soaking the sheath and wrapping it in paracord. Turned it upside down over a vent over night and viola it was done! Then I got a kydex sheath and never used it again!

Got mine today. It's a tiny little thing. Will carry for a bit before I make any decisions.

Used the knife all day today and yesterday. Might merit a better sheath to get a better edc from it. For the knife, it’s been surprisingly stout. I used it to replace some rotten shingles and gut two couches and it didn’t complain one bit. Handle is very capable. It was a little tougher to sharpen due to its size (or my gorilla), but I got it sorted.

For anyone using this as an EDC, how are you carrying it? Mine came with a kydex sheath that’s suitable for infrequent removal, but I don’t trust the lock enough for casual reinsertion. @shaneadams90 does that armatus sheath belt carry well? Or do you think the pull the dots would allow it to slide around too much?

I am VERY pleased with the retention on the Armatus Carry option.....I put it on the outside on the far side of my belt loop and when I pull the knife from the sheath it bumps up against the belt loop....solid deployment..

Mine has looked like that on 2 separate occasion after fishing trips where I forgot wipe my knife down after cleaning fish. Still shines like a new penny after some time on the strop! but the pits are still there....gives it character!

In all seriousness... anything post @Delkancott use is value added.

I bet his Izula would go for top dollar at auction here.

Sadly it probably would. Some guys wouldn’t want to go through the effort of causing that much beauty...I mean wear.
