Oh crap the world's coming to an end, Bushy's considering a knife that's not crowbar thick and shorter than his house panthers claws

So far, so good. Great balance of nimble and sturdy.

Sheath isnt on the same caliber as the knife. It was sewn twisted, and the knife couldn't really fit in (got hung up on the threads inside from the belt loop). No worries - I wasn't planning on keeping the belt loop. Cut it off, and the knife actually fits in pretty well now. Makes for better pocket carry. I may add some eyelets for neck carry in the future.

Looking forward to getting out and putting it to some real use.

Nothing looks better then a little rust! I use them hard, and put'em away wet. A little WD-40 and 0000 steel wool, and they look great. I know, I'm a weird one, lol.

Looks like a pocket sharpening steel. I keep one on me and love it.

Or an awl pocket steel. :)

Which wouldn't be a bad idea.

Nope, that is a titanium/brass/epoxied-hemp spike from @program_j_missouri over on Instagram. The primary function is a lightweight stabby option for the offside as well as a marlin spike for working knots.

I have used it for everything from a scratch awl to a pointer for group map reading to punching holes in sheet metal/plastic jugs to light prying to eating orange chicken when the Chinese takeout place forgot to give me a fork.

I may not buy a CR 2.5 for this reason

It is basically no different than this knife..except this knife is made in Canada.

A knife in the hand is better than one at the store. I get it.
