Visited the French region Vosges a few weeks back with our VW campervan. It's beautiful there and people we met were very friendly. We stayed on a campsite near Corcieux in the middle of the woods. Here's some pics to let you guys tag along. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. General view of the area: Typical rural architecture found in the area Spotted some rowdear on one of our walks Had to be sharp to spot an occasional ruine between the trees Guinness enjoyed it even more than we did He's got great camouflage between these trees. The church of Corcieux Weather was ok, not warm but dry and sometimes sunny Lunchtime on one of our hikes... baguette and cheese Prepared with my trusy Spyderco Military Loads of blossoming (fruit)trees this time of year made it extr beautiful Encountered many streams in the woods there
Hard to get lost... what color trail were we following again??? Champ de Roches, fiels of rocks, crazy place in the middle of nowhere Made a great lunch spot to prepare some noodles Don't think we left any trace Perparing for a fire with my BK7 back at the campsite Curly wood makes my heard pound faster We got smoke! Yay! Almost time fot coffe now Sometimes river and road become one Loads of moss in the woods
I'm sure my Garmin said there's a trail here This wild spotting tower made me laugh... there was a wood kitchen chair in it to make you comfortable Nice views Time for a break... Guinness' staying close Make sure you visit the local pattisier before you hit the trails The french sure know what's delicious! Some ruin at the summit of the hill we 'climbed' Anyone notice the many pinetrees? More local wildlife we spotted: And remains of wildlife The trip was wonderful and I can recommend the area for walking/hiking. We had a great time. Hope you enjoyed the pics.
