Might be the city? I remember having a stop over there on a bus trip in 1986. They were well into a garbage strike, that plaza where Rocky ran up the stairs was being used as a temporary above ground dump, had to be at least twenty feet deep around the edges. The garbage juice literally flowed down the gutter like a stream........ so much for sightseeing. Then while using the urinal before getting back on the bus a guy tried to sell me this big ten pound block of surplus cheese, he needed 50 cents for bread, the kids are hungry he said, sign next to the bus stop advertised 40's for 50 cents. The whole place had that out of control feel even back then. From then on I followed my gut and just went around when travel tried to put me there.

 

I have been trying for days to 3d print a approximately 9 -12 inch tall Lego figure. I have been hoping to make a "outdoor" / "bushcraft" style figure with Axe + shovel and more but it has been 1 problem then another...

I was able to download a couple of different pre done figures but everything about the files are wrong..

Orientation / printed layer direction is / are all the wrong directions. Sizes/ over hang each other..

You might be right my twangy accent amigo…but our favorite khakis wearing lunatic handled salties, the scariest of serpents, spiders than can bite through shoes….and gets downed by a swim/flying shoe sole…refusing to live in fear of the beauty that surrounds us might be as they say “a hellva way to go”. But in Valhalla oh the conversations we will drink to.

Kind of random but @Andy the Aussie would you happen to know anyone in the states that is selling a Busse NMSFNO? I sold mine years ago and have been looking to replace it but can’t seem to find one.

 

Yeah I feel like I used to see them pretty frequently a few years ago. I sold mine because life happened and I’ve regretted it ever since lol. I appreciate the reply.

 

This looks exactly like the one I sold. Was it to you? I remember selling you a few things, ASH1 and a ratmandu, possibly others I think. It’s been too long. This is one of the pics I posted way back when. It looks almost the same.

Specifically i would like a Nylon pouch with Velcro closure. Think Gerber Brand multitool pouch.
