    10 deg F here. That's too cold. And the wind is howling. So far power has held. Been hiding in doors and playing on my phone.

    Gotta take the oldest to work and hit up the grocery store for supper.

    Last night it was 42F, woke up it was 6F. Layer of ice and snow and pretty windy today. 40 mph gusts possible.

    It’s Cold Outside! Luckily it’s about 5-10 degrees warmer below the occupied Bird Coop senser. The birds are all huddled up under 4 heat lamps (safely placed) in a foot of fluffy hay and are nice and toasty.

    It's amazing how 26° feels warmer than 42°. I figured it has to be from the humidity freezing. I think it makes the air dryer.

    I wonder if Ballistol could be used to season a cast iron pan.... after all it's food friendly and non toxic if ingested...

    I might just have to try this on a cast iron pan.... :p

    I don't think it would polymerase like oil to create a smooth surface.

    I hate people. Some dirtbag in Publix took our order of wings that my girlfriend called in, and Publix claims they are out of wings and not cooking any more.

    that happens a lot in the fast food chains / people literally wait for App orders and rub off with them. Seen it here a lot.

    I just had to pull a lady's expedition out of the ditch. Her dogs were here getting groomed today. I think her husband normally brings them, but he's hunting. I guess he and their son are looking for a deer they shot. So they couldn't come get the dogs on time and they want the dogs to find the deer.

    The woman pulled into our house driveway, not the barn driveway where the dogs are. She tried to back out into the road and backed across the end of the culvert pipe. The front bumper was on the ground and the left rear tire was in the air.

    She was partially in the road so I didn't take the time to take a picture. It took about 5 or 6 bumps on the rope from our Honda Pioneer 700 to get it free. I thought I was going to have to get the truck.

    Went to buy bones from the butcher to make bone broth.

    $15 per bag of bones, about 2lbs each bag.

    :confused::eek::confused::eek::confused::eek::confused::eek::confused::eek::confused::(:(:(:(:(

    Still bought them, cuz I love my house panthers, but damn... :(:(:(:(

    Gonna save chicken / Turkey / beef bones and freeze them next time I make bone broth.
    And try to find a cheaper source locally
