First full day off and relaxing in a couple months. Beautiful weather, hawks flying around, great music....

 

I've done that with motorcycles. Buy a neglected unit in the Fall and fix it up real nice over the winter. Then sell it in the Spring or early Summer. I'm all thumbs with playing mechanic, so I didn't play there much.
Someone handier than me and a good eye for turning a buck could do a nice paying little job every winter though. Boats, motos, quads, etc.
I had a little fun riding the tuned up moto's as well. One was a DR400 supermoto. I should have kept that bike.

 

I'm not really trying to make money. I have three daughters so I usually need 5 running bikes for us all and the wife. This will be a spare probably or I might try to sell it and buy another Bayou 220 for my youngest that's gonna outgrow her 80 soon.

But I wouldn't mind opening a shop in the future but I would have to move. The area I'm in is too poor overall to support a decent shop plus it would be impossible to get help.

 

Really hate landlords that refuse to do repairs, especially a/c units that blow only warm air in 90 degree weather. All I can do is call code enforcement, which I did today, so might be looking for a new place to live.

 

Huh, calling code worked. Got a brand spanking new a/c. Feels good in here again.

I knew it was just a matter of time. It made it farther than most jeeps.

 

Bought a used Snowpeak Titanium French press to gut and use as a mug.

Cheaper then buying a new titanium mug and I like the deeper instead of wider mugs.

Plus I can store my silverware and other goodies in the deeper mug

 

Winter?
Spring?
Summer?

Some rain moved through real early this morning, like 3am or so.

Was a big chance of rain today for mid morning then again mid afternoon, but it ended up not doing anything at all.
