@Mountainmistwanderer is starting a one man band and will be touring with Metallica.
@Andy the Aussie made international news by escaping quarantine to get booze.

A couple Canadians got butt hurt and left because not everyone uses a sharpened pry bar when they play Rambo and try to scare people minding their own business.

@JV3 is keeping everyone updated on the effects of COVID19 on Asian hookers. And trying to buy all the Gen 5 G17s which is annoying because I'M TRYING TO BUY ALL THE Gen5 G17s!

@Bcamos is training child snipers in Texas. Which is badass.

Everybody is kung fu... I mean o ver land ing (sing it to the same music, there's a parody video out there that I can't find at the moment that's funny as hell).

With that in mind, @Shane Adams and @Jeff Randall have decided to enter the "car camping gear" product space this coming year.

I think they are going to focus primarily on accessories for Land Rovers and Jeeps but may add Mitsubushi, Suzuki and Nissan later. They've been prototyping a new RTT/Awning/snorkel /rack all in one product with built in air, water and fuel storage and 360 degree light bar and Go pro coverage. Just don't expect it to fold...

In my head, as I was typing that part, I was picturing something similar to the old Top Gear UK Reliant Robin skits.
Just imagine a stock 4wd with the rack that weighs more than the vehicle's GVWR.
-Pulls out of the driveway: falls over.
-Changes lanes in traffic: falls over.
-Turns onto a dirt road: falls over.
-Driver and passenger don't exit at the same time: falls over.

Tell me more about those vanlife ho's.

 

Pick a social media platform like Instagram. Search the hashtag #vanlife or similar. Ignore the long posts about how they were going through life lost or missing something until they came apon "insert cute name here", the wonder van.
Sort through for the ones whose pictures are 75% their asses or them partially dressed or in yoga pants bending over, 20% of cool scenery and 5% of their van. Those are the one you seek.

Feel free to both change and improve it (it really needs improving looking at it this morning). I was bored at work and just tossed out something based on a video I saw a while back that used the song as a sound track to clips of YouTube overlander vids.

I was going to do an "Everybody was Bush-craft-ing" version but thankfully something broke so I had to do some work.

 

All I am going to say is 45 days And counting down.
Yes it will be a 47 day wait for pictures BUT we’ll worth the wait!

 

LOL, not yet. The oldest two are. Both driving vehicles and driving me nuts.

Sometimes having teenagers makes me feel like a mafia don. Which is funny cuz my family's Slovene. Way north of Sicily.

Me: "Please do (insert chore here). Thx."
Teen: Gives attitude about how they already do too much.
Me: "That's a nice license and car insurance you have. It'd be a shame if something happened to them. Perhaps if your license "accidentally" fell into the shredder..."
Teen: "Just did what you asked, dad. What else can I do?"

 

There was no coffee ready when I got to work....

Not a good way to start the work week before vacation.

 

At least they want to drive. My kid had many friends that cared nothing about getting their license or learning to drive.

My coworkers make this slightly dark colored water. If I want real coffee I have to either bring it or make it when I get here.

 

Frank makes decent coffee most of the time. I work with a couple sissies that drink coffee flavored tea looking water. *shudder*

 

Interesting you mentioned that. My oldest, a girl, didn't want to drive at first. She was really nervous about sitting behind 2 tons of steel. Took forever to build up her confidence to move past driving in circles in an empty Walmart parking lot.

My 2d oldest, a boy, was almost overconfident in his ability. First time I took him driving he said something like, "I got this dad." Then proceeded to nail the gas and run up on the curb. I told him that was his freebie. "Do it again and I take your permit."

you have an opening since i'm preoccupied with hoarding g19s at the moment...as for the asian hookers, too early to draw any conclusions so i need to continue my scientific research!
