Used my DMT stones for the first time in a long time today. I used the 220 grit to clean and flatten my Edge Pro stones lol

    I. Want. To. Go. To. The. Woods. Damn it.

Oh, wait...I did today. I went to the fence row and cut out some saplings with my junglas.

I cut some ivy vines with my junglas.

I carried the Junglas strapped to the ROPS on my tractor while mowing.

I carried it on my tractor while cutting hay and brushhogging.

Gee....I don't know why I'm complaining. Maybe tomorrow I'll wear my umlindi and carry my junglas to go cut an oak tree that came down in a storm.

Go ahead, @Bushman5 ....keep bitching about your job. Sometimes living the rural life can be more restrictive on fun times. But at least they're MY trees I'm hacking away at...

This mysteriously appeared. It wasn't there when I worked on it two nights ago, but it was there the next day. I looked at the security footage and didn't see anything. So yet something else I have to fix now.... I'm really sick of this.. Screenshot_20190619-194112_Messages.jpg

I won't "like" this post, because my whole month of June has been this way. I empathize.:(

Same thing happened to my car last year - a sudden crack in the window while it was parked, without being hit. Just like that, out of nowhere.

Id throw a bandaid on it. Not to fix it but to add some humor and tell the world you can handle anything it throws at you with humor.

Earlier in the thread I suggested using a sawzall to fix your dash disassembly/heater core issue.
I'm going to stick with that fix for this too. Sawzalls and sledgehammers. One day (never) I'm going to (not) open up a garage called that.

Sawzalls and Sledgehammers Customs. Mods to improve any car.

I dunno....I've seen fender repairs done in the field to tanks, trucks, and even jeeps with nothing more than sledgehammer, pry bar, and a block of wood.o_O

I have some $10 repair crap coming tomorrow. Its not as bad if it was nature, the sun, that did it. But so much damage has been done already to it from her driving it.. But nothing I can do but fix it.

If the motor goes, I'm having an all out war on it. I need to test my new tomahawk anyway and maybe see what an esee 3 can do to it lol.

PSA: When packing for a flight, make sure that you check EVERY pocket of your daily backpack. I got through the TSA checkpoint just fine, but then the agent said “Whose bag is this?” She opened it up and found my spare Candiru that I keep in an inside pocket just in case I forget a knife some day.
I didn’t have time to get out of line and mail it to myself for $25, so there’s now an extra knife in the TSA collection :(

........ also dangerous when you are pressed for time and dump a handful of 7.62 into an inconspicuous pocket on your Lowepro camera pack (because it was convenient when you found them in the pants of your hunting pants as you packed the truck to head home). Six months later you are about to hit the security line and you start offloading metal into the same pack before the scan and what do you find....I didn't look at all suspicious scurrying back to the the parking station !!!!

    Here and there...
I’ve gotten to the point of making it known that kiddos helped me pack my bag. When asked if there was anything I should have removed I refer to the previous statement and respond I would be surprised! For the most part I just get a laugh and get out of here! I have been amazed at the items I have found in my bags upon arriving at my destination. :)
The one thing that ALWAYS gets me stopped is Rocks and Fossils... (Yes I travel with them on a regular basis) I normally get the “you know what we want to look at?” Yes sir or ma’am! Again they normally look, kinda laugh or want to learn about them real quick.
Apparently rocks and fossils show as “minerals” on the X-ray and they have to be checked..
