I know...I dumped the filter on my F350 and it looked like it had been rained in. This low sulfur diesel es no bueno.

Best thing you can do on your F350 is get a dual water separator BEFORE the main filter. Filters are cheap, injectors and pumps are not .

My work truck the injectors cost $12,000

I know very little about Diesel engines. One thing I do know is water is BAD news for engines. I remember when I was driving aircraft loaders for work the water fuel separators things where HUGE and there was I think 3 or 4 in a row. Couldn’t them breaking down at a aircraft so everything pretty much redundancy’s and was way overbuilt JIK!

I've never had any trouble to speak of until the last year. I agree with the statements that this new fuel is crapola.

Anybody ever tried spray painting the molded plastic ESEE sheaths?

I've got a box of Krylon camo paint, and a tan sheath I don't much care for...

Not personally but I've seen it done. Although I'm not sure which paint they used but I would think a plastic paint. Just roughen up the surface a little

@Reno Lewis I agree with @Drew RedBear. I have seen it done also and have done it to 1 izula sheath. The Izula stealth has slowly flaked but if it was preroughed with sandpaper I would think that it would be a lot more successful.
(Not sure why it tagged @Bushman5 instead. :) )

Back to the union tomorrow. Figures.. as soon as I get scheduled with them to go back to work, my side business blows up for the last few days.

I’m not sure if it’s a great thing or I’m gonna hate my life in a couple days. This job I’m going to is 7 12’s for a month straight. No days off for the next month.. yay. :(

Are the terminals connected tight? Any corrosion present?

Yeah they were tight and no corrosion. They tested the battery and it was gone. Only 5 months old too. I was told that it could be the alternator or something was drawing power from it when it was off. O'Reilly tested it back in Dec, and it was fine. I'm going back tomorrow to have it tested again.
