Been caring for moth cocoons for over a month for the kiddos school.

1 Hatched early in the week and 1 Hatched 2 minutes after getting in the car for spring break.
This little guy is the newest addition. This was about 5 minutes after hatching before he spread his big wings.

A little hard to get a picture of the bugger as it’s hanging upside down in the enclosure.
With wings now dried and spread out.

AND my flowers are starting to bloom! :)
(On a side note why so many weeds in the bark dust? I find it to be a awesome source of flowers and native plants and only weed it every few weeks and harvest any flowers or trees that might have started growing :) )

I'm SO very close to diving down this rabbit hole..........I LOVE the 70's era Porsche's...and this one has been garage kept (has been started every few weeks and run to operating temps) . Owner (Porsche collector) has many many spare parts squirreled away, including a 2nd engine in crate and 8 wheelsets with tires. I'm well versed too with these engines (Thanks Dad!) as Dad has worked on a few over the years. Don't knock a 4 cylinder gas engine...... ;) Its how you drive it.

I would love to own a piece of late 70's Porsche history.....so close right now to diving into this. I love the fact its not the standard Porsche Red color. (not a spec of rust either)

got $1500 in Vacation Pay owed to me, and am negotiating a short term loan with my Aunt for the rest.....

Literally for the cost of my upgraded JEEP diesel turbo, I can own a 78 Porsche 924 with spare engine, spare parts, and 8 wheels/tires.

this is very exciting for me.

Normally I have good luck with Amazon purchases. However today I wasn't so lucky. I ordered a NEW hp laptop with 8GB ram and 802.11ac wifi (for 5G wifi). This is what I got. Not what I ordered. They are sending me a replacement though, so hopefully they'll come through . 20190422_115714.jpg 20190422_115717.jpg 20190422_122515.jpg 20190422_122519.jpg 20190422_122529.jpg 20190422_123809.jpg 20190422_124014.jpg 20190422_130111.jpg

My youngest (2 yrs) says "t" instead of "k". So when I asked her something, she responded with "otay", I started calling her Buckwheat. My wife's kinda irritated about that.:D

GDSOB work comp MF'rs been waiting for my lost wages check for over 7 months, was told it got mailed out 3 weeks ago.
Well this morning my attorney calls me to say they cut the check today and emailed a picture of it (WTF?)
If it of been here on time my truck would have been up and running and wouldn't have been wrecked by the tree limb.
Motorcycle insurance is due by the 30th as well and to top it off I got an email from Buck knives the day of my surgery for the April "Buck of the month" limited to 149 made. The Buck 55 in S30V with nickel silver and black micarta handle.
They finally made my dream knife and it's already sold out.

Just like the 110 pro they came out with a year or so ago only half the size, would make the perfect pocket companion for the 110 pro. And as some of you know by now I have a thing for black and chrome, it's a compulsive old sCool motorcycle thing.

Got back outside tonight and finished half of the new planting.

Checking the layout to make sure it looks good

And, done until later in the week when I haul home the rest of the plants.

    During the layout.
Changed up my drawing and put the spruce in the back and the mixed coral bells in the front.

Everything is planted now, but it was pretty dark when I finished so I couldn’t get a good photo.
Realized the hydrangea is too close to the azaleas and I have room on the other side. Tomorrow I’ll dig it up and move it to the right about a foot or so.
Other than that, this one is done.

    Maybe...
