now Amazon........I love these guys. Parcel drop at the local mall, email updates. And my last order (4 KG roasted/salted sunflower seeds, 2kg roasted/salted peanuts, 2 kg hemp hearts, and a box of white chocolate macadamaia nut Clif bars........

order should have been $60 CAD with free shipping. Got it with a discount for $42 CAD with free shipping. The nuts alone cost $40 , never mind the hemp hearts and Clif bars! And it was delivered 3 days early/

Speaking of USPS, UPS, etc: I live in a small town with a great little post office. UPS passes my house to get to the post office and drops any packages that they have off there. The Post Office will accept it as long as it's under a certain weight. When they scan it in I automatically get emails from UPS, and from Amazon if that is where I ordered it from, saying that Delivery failed and they will try again tomorrow. Were I the Post Office I would tell UPS to F off or charge them a ridiculous sum to do their job for them. I'm told that there are similar arrangements throughout the U.S..

The only time that UPS delivers to my house is when it's ammo or something heavy. And they have tried to leave that stuff at the Post Office before. I've told our postmaster that they are welcome to refuse to accept anything that another carrier drops off for me and I'll deal with that carrier myself.

And I got an email from FedEx last week telling me that something I had ordered and the vendor shipped through them was too heavy and bulky and I would need to come to a distribution center two hours away to collect it.

Turns out that at some point my purchase (four items weighing 35lbs each and individually wrapped) was placed on a pallet and instead of pulling it off the pallet and placing them on the truck they want me to come get it from their dock. That's not going to happen.

I have to agree with you about Amazon @Bushman5. I've rarely had an issue with them and if I do they are on it fast. Plus they have an agreement with the usps and will deliver on a Sunday. And the prices are usually pretty good.

Lmao, so that's what happened to my package!

Most Parents sang their kids lullabies to help them go to sleep. My dad sang us this song, sink the bismark, and the battle of new orleans

Found what I believe are silk worm cocoons tonight. The white ones are already hatched so I checked them to make sure and then saved them for the kiddos science classes.
The greenish yellow one at the bottom still has a moth in it so I’ll wait until it hatches and I’ll have another one :)

These are the thieves that hit our area a few nights ago. Got real good daylight pics of them today.

They split up and this guy made his way into my block, walking past cars looking in each one
