I called in a favor card from a film buddy at LionsGate.....there may be a very small chance I can get into a private pre-screening of the John Wick 3 movie before the launch in May....

I cannot wait to see this movie.

Ok another rant, sorry. So my bp prescription ran out on Monday so I put in for a refill and they would call my doctor. Wednesday came and I hadn't heard back so I called the pharmacy and they said the doctor never called back but they would try again. Today I called them and still nothing so I called the doctor and they told me that since I hadn't been seen since 2016 they weren't going to refill it and I would need to see my primary doctor the one who wouldn't refill my heart meds. So I called to see how much an appointment would be and it's $196 up front. Both doctors said I would be on these meds for the rest of my life, I guess unless I'm poor. Luckily I have another month of my bp meds saved up but taxes can't come soon enough.

 

Don't you just love Big Pharma?

 

I was sitting in the line at the pharmacy as I read this... Called my script in Wednesday which there is normal 2-3 day wait time which is no big deal.. It is a big deal when they are then closed the next day Thursday and then again on Monday.... SO my script won’t be ready until next Thursday... So I had to wait about 20 deep in line to pick up a 3 day “gap” refill which makes it to Thursday.. for all the time I had to wait and the amount of time they had to take to give me a “gap” refill they could have just dropped another 27 pills in to same me a trip back until next month....

 

SICK!!! That is awesome!

 

My pharmacy typically has my script ready before I make it there from the Dr office.

So, like 10 minutes.

 

Every workday completed is another day closer to retirement.

 

guess I did not accelerate fast enough from the stop light for the car behind me. He tailgated me about 6" off my bumper, high-beaming me and leaning on his horn, trying to force me out of the lane i was in. Transport trucks with trailers X 4 beside me. No where to go, sorry man......and this truck transmission is quite notchy, so i have to double clutch and match the rpm's..........takes a bit, its a truck not a race car or vehicle with auto tranny....buddy......

This went on for a block or two. He tried to swerve around me and go into oncoming traffic but had to pull back into the lane every time (like 6 times) die to oncoming transport trucks.

Yellow light coming up, I of course slowed down and stopped as it turned red. Idiot behind me lost his mind. Gets out, slams his car door and advances towards me angrily with a tire wrench in his hand.

Dude was about 1 second away from smashing my drivers side window with a tire wrench and most likely harming me.

Guess he did not see the police car behind him the entire time.

Officer sounded the car sirens, got out and advanced on the guy beside my truck, yelling at him to drop the wrench.

and that was that. Guess buddy is not going to get where he was going today.

I hate Metro vancouver drivers. The impatience and daily road rage is astounding.
