The stainless izula is 440c. I have never used the knife (though I want one) but I do have some experience with 440c. I like it for a semi-hard use knife. It holds an edge decently well (not as nice as something like s30v) but its relatively easy to put an edge back on it (much quicker than s30v)...I dont believe it has a 90° spine. I'm not sure many ESEEs do prior to some Camplore models but it's so easy to put one on yourself...I say go for it and get some tkc scales for it...

Article Not worth the read in my opinion but still a interesting story with a cool conclusion :)
    https://katu.com/news/local/clackam...fice-responds-to-assist-climber-on-mount-hood

    So short version,
    1. Guy went crazy and climbed Mount Hood in Oregon.
    2. Called for help and they sent up a crew as soon as the snow refroze enough to be safe.
    3. By then he was to injured and it was to warm for the rescuers to descend the mountain.
    4. Called in a Blackhawk to take them off the mountain summit but it couldn’t climb high enough.
    5. They then called in Chinook which is powerful enough to reach the summit.
    6. Chinook picked up the rescue team and injured climber.

SO what makes this COOL! Due to the thin air and high winds they could not use a basket or rope to pick them up. Instead they did a 2 wheel landing on the summit and picked them up!!

    This mountain!

I did not see it until this morning... If you go to the article they added a 2 minute video of the rescue and it’s pretty awesome!!
I’ll try and add a copy of video but no guarantees.. Ill see what I can do!

Short 2 minute version no sound.. From youtube.

12 minute version of whole rescue. Kind of annoying music to go with it thou.. from YouTube.

Entered a scotch doubles 9 ball tournament today. My partner and I weren’t used to each other’s style of play. Ended up taking 2nd overall. Not a bad day.

    1) Holy crap - that's some impressive Chinook piloting.

    2) I hope the dumbass they rescued received a hefty bill for the time, resources and risk involved in plucking his clueless butt off the mountain.

Though with some salt and pepper seasoning and maybe a little batter I could see how I may be a fan... ;)

I didn't fall asleep at work once today.

Been a long time since I've pulled an all-dayer.

I've come to the conclusion that you can make anything taste good if it's deep fried.
