Cleaver played a key role in the preparation of last night's "orange ginger beef:"

Bushy, that thing still looks new--you using it????

Disregard. I see that Hammer posted it--Bushy posted under it.

I know Hammer just got it so he's excused :)

    Won't look new for long....;)

And don't tell anyone, but I might have even been wearing Crocs while using it.

One of my Better Half's top recipes for sure. And super easy.

Crocs are the official footwear of the Expat Republic.

Unless boots are needed. In which case you have a choice between L.L. Bean Hunting Shoes or custom-made Wesco's. Your choice.

....possibly why the odd Banana Republic fails...I would guess.... ;) ;) Their will to live oozed out through the holes in their footwear..... and I lean toward Lowa these days for when more substantial footwear is required... :D :D

You bet. I think it would be awesome with slow-cooked venison. There's lot of similar recipes out there, but this is the one my Better Half came across years ago, and that we've been using ever since:

I offered up my cleaver for a passaround on the BCUSA forum; can't wait to share some of the user pictures on this thread. I can't say I'm too excited about other people having my cleaver, but maybe it will convert a few into believers and owners (@Black5 included ;) )
