My EDC 110, slightly modded. Not cool, I know, but it makes me happy.

I really like the 110 but I have never carried one much. Eventually I want to pick up one of the new 5160 110s, Buck's 5160 is a really nice steel and I feel like a 110 with a patina would be super cool.

The modded one is 5160, Bos did it right. I always hated the thin tip on the 110, so when they offered a drop point, I snagged it.

The Case Shark Tooth was the much more common of the Case trio of Shark knives, sold in pretty much any hardware store across the nation mostly with black delrin handles for the last 40 or more years. The Hammerhead & Mako were a lot less common. They were Case's answer to Buck lockback folders. I've owned and carried all 3 through the years. I've been a Case guy since about 1972 when my doctor gave me my first one after sewing up my foot from mumblety peg gone wrong. I was 12, the one he gave me had a single sheepsfoot blade not good for throwing at feet LOL. Still have it and it is well used.

My trio in Stag from 1980. Yeah, I know this is a Buck thread!

I like the looks of that drop point.

I see that DLT Trading has a drop point version in s30v.

Got a 110 in 5160. Don't carry it all that often but I do love the knife...just the quintessential large folder for me.

This thread turned out to be pretty cool. Glad there is still an interest in classic stuff in this titanium and jeweled 10" pry bar Jackoff9000 $700 folder age.

Somewhere I've got one of the first model years 110's that belonged to my Grandfather. He bought 2 of them when they came out. One for him and one for my Dad.

    I need to find that.

Not sure, I bought the 50 year aniversary from Colton, iirc, and had a couple, one of them for 20 years.

Once again Garymc post some awesome knives. Do you sell tickets for tours of your house? If so I'm in.

I have a 110 with the 50th anniversary tang stamp. I also have an old usa made schrade LB7 that I actually prefer over the 110. It has a thin inker handle that fits my hand better, a slightly lower Saber grind and a slightly thicker tip.

You think you get blamed a lot, how do you think I feel, I get blamed daily on multiple forums LOL. I'm quickly becoming the "Wive's United" most hated man around the world! ;)
