Can anyone please recommend a belt thickness that works best with the ESEE Izula, Candiru, 3/4, belt clips? Right now I'm looking at a 1.5" belt, but I noticed they make them in a lot more sizes now.
I usually wear a gun belt that has a nylon insert 1.5” wide by about 1/4” thick. It seems to be the right thickness for the clip. I have a thinner belt for work but the esee 4 sheath slides around more.
Thanks I appreciate it, I have an ESEE 6 but wasnt sure if the belt clip size was the same for the smaller knifes.
I checked the clips of a 4 and 6 yesterday - they look the same size to me and definitely fit the same belt equally well. The belt I wear daily is very stiff nylon fabric and is probably around 4 mm thick - both of them ride fine on it.
