I was wondering if anyone has items stashed in their hollow grip of their Ar15? Searching online shows there are grips designed for this. Has anybody altered their grip or have a ways of carrying anything on their rifle? My interest is first, a tiny 1/2” wrench to remove my scope and use my backup irons should I need to do so. Scanning other forums I see mention of guys carrying spare parts as well. I am also just considering taping a wrench to my sling along with a tourniquet and calling it done. What’s your thoughts or ideas? Bonus pic of my first lower I assembled in the last week.
Magpul makes a few different inserts. IMO if someone has the clip that closes the bottom you could likely fashion a custom insert. Also on older fixed length Buttstock AR’s a lot of them had special storage space for cleaning rods etc. https://magpul.com/miad-moebolt-firingpinstoragecore.html?mp_global_color=118
Just a $19.99 magpul grip at Academy had what I was looking for, generous capacity and a great snap in bottom closure. Appreciate the help Rocket!!
