Always wanted to learn to play banjo, looking for an entry level open back 5 string, I'd love a deering goodtime, but vintage or needs alittle TLC is fine too. I have a ton of down time right now so I figure it is a good time to try. Hoping to find one for less than 200... thanks!

I have had some over the years. They are pretty easy as they are timed to a G chord. When I was young everyone learned Cripple Creek first, in the Scruggs style. If I were doing it now I would learn the claw hammer like String Bean.
