This Saturday I hiked a section of the Allegheny Trail from Blackwater Falls State Park to Canaan Valley State Park, WV. I parked at Canaan Valley and my parents dropped me off at Blackwater Falls. This section of the Allegheny Trail followed various trails, Davis Trail, Plantation Trail, Fire Trail #6, Canaan Loop Road, Railroad Grade Trail, and Back Hollow Trail. Total hike was 10.8 miles, took me 4 hours and 45 min, including stopping for lunch.
