Not too many of us on here. We live in the Lehi area.

The 4.7 v8 is really smooth. It seems to pair better with the transmission as well.

i have a 4th gen and no complaints. the 5th gen trd looks sick though and the best looking 4runner in my opinion...i'd upgrade to that if i can justify it in a heartbeat but they're just so damn reliable.

i'd rather spend my play money on booze and hookers otherwise i'd be all over that trd pro hehe.

I say keep what ya got. I'm driving a 2002 Tacoma V6 4x4 SR5 with somewhere around 220k miles. My only complaint comes when towing an 18½ fiberglass bass boat up hills.

Miles are miles, but is it worth a monthly payment to the man for x number of years? You can do a lot of upgrades for the price of a few monthly payments.

I'm of the mindset that a vehicle is worthy of keeping until it becomes unreliable. If I can't get in, turn the engine over, and travel to any destination that I choose without fear of breaking down, it's time to spend some money on a new ride. As long as it passes that test, I'm getting every mile out of it I can. Vehicles are expensive purchases and only getting pricier. Unless you just have money to burn, drive it till the wheels fall off.

If I do upgrade it would be with cash no payments. But then again I could do some sick upgrades to my 4th gen too.

I actually like the body style of the older models better than the 5th gen. Of course my favorite are the older LandCruisers.

I’ve always liked the 4th gen but the 5 gen trail trd off road and trd pro’s are starting to look good to me. The older land cruisers are pretty awesome but still have a large price tag!

I have the TRD Pro and would not pay for that package again. I would rather save some bucks go the trail model. Basically the same vehicle for less dollars.

Yeah I’m probably going to go for the trail premium if I decide to upgrade.

I agree with Jeff. The TRD upgrade really doesn't net you much especially if you will be going to Fox shocks etc.

    Edited grammar

That first one is a 75Series and I am guessing late 80s early 90s..... compare the pics of it to my NEW truck and you will see that they have not found too much room for change.... :D
