    really? What do they run now? I have my Dad’s. He bought it new as a kid. Probably paid $25 for it.

    Yeah I think the only difference between ours are the slab side and the extended scope mount on yours. Mine has the full round bull barrel and “Government Target Model“ engraved. I ended up putting the left hand Hogue target grips on mine since my whole household is southpaws.

    That’s what I learned to shoot on as a kid. My dad’s got the black/chrome model. Love it!

    Mine was a present to myself because I was missing my old Ruger T678 that I sold many years ago. It was also extremely accurate. The T678 moniker stood for Target 6 & 7/8 inch that had a heavy tapered barrel.

    Holy COW! First one sold for $705. and second one is at $375. I had no idea they were that expensive. I remember them being cheap. :eek:

    That’s the one I inherited as well.

    I have seen black, brown and green models. I don’t know if there were others. Personally, I think the black looks the best.
