That time of year again gentlemen...
My first trip is late this month....can't come soon enough though I have had to curtail it from the usual week away to only four days.....
Trout time is here but it’ll be a bit before I get out.
This time next week I should be posting some pics of a group of dead gentlemen named Bob.
First good trip on the ice. Landed 31 channel cats, and lost easily a couple dozen more. One that I lost got tangled in my buddies line, broke his rod and broke my hook. Crazy day. They were all 1-5 lbs, average was 3-4.
Just finished cleaning yesterday's haul.
Nice mess of crappie, when do we eat?
So excited for spring.....
I been stocking up on new fishing gear all damn winter
Went Barbary sheep hunting last week. Between my two brothers-in-law, father-in-law, nephew, and myself we got a ram, three ewes, and a porcupine. As this was my first successful hunt I was pretty stoked. Most of the meat from my ewe and the ram are being ground with pork fat to sausage, aside from the tenderloins and backstraps which are in the freezer.
Hey little lady...
Just stepped out on the front porch for an after dinner smoke and
Breakfast meat... niiccceeee!!!
Bagged a European hare last night walking with my young bloke, the dog was a little bit excited on retrival and chomped it across the belly.
Jg3 performed cleaning duties.
Unfortunately it had white spots covering 3/4 of its lungs so we didn't eat it but still removed the skin to show the tin lids.
See where the dog chomped it and broke its back.
Shot placement from 30mtrs
Rifle that performed the duties cz .22 using Eley subsonic hollow points
