Secondly, aluminum can absolutely handle hammering in a tent peg without suffering.

The problem with voctorinox tools (and knives), is the lack of a lack of a pocket clip. Makes edc burdensome.
multitools are the biggest compromise i make in my edc.

3/32" for scandi knives
5/32" flat or convex for large knives
