    Yes it is, from what I gathered so far shooter was 64yr old man heavily in debt from gambling. Used automatic weapons shooting from 32nd floor of hotel.

    My friend was on the same floor as the shooter, it seems. She said they all got evacuated by police to a theater, or something similar elsewhere in the hotel.

    This is crazy - over the weekend we had news here of a man with an ISIS flag running down a cop and 4 civilians in Edmonton and now this. Sadly, it's only going to get worse. Too much fear and hate.

    My questions.....
    1.it says he bought his firearms in his hometown and all procedures were followed.......The audio clips clearly sound like full auto...
    2. He has never had any priors and the law enforcement didn't really know anything about him....but he must have some experience/skill with high powered rifles because he was shooting from nearly a 1/4 mile away.......even in full auto i would think that takes some skill....

    It sounded to me like a bump fire stock. It was automatic, but did not have a consistent ROF. It speeds up and slows down several times.

    Vegas happened, Tom Petty and I just heard that Marshall Hoots the owner of Going Gear passed in the last two days. Today really sucks.
