Check out Steinhart, they are a German company selling Swiss made watches that rival some of the nicer stuff at a reasonable price point.
Not an Omega, but pretty close in quality for the price.

I took this pic just for you! image.jpg

My wife bought me the titanium Aqua Terra GMT on the right for my retirement gift last year in a store in Chicago. I got the Black face one about 15 years ago for around 1k. I will not say what the GMT cost but she would not let me take it to Africa last year.

I forgot about this thread. I love watches even though I don't have anything fancy. I'll have to take pictures of my 2 lowly watches later.

Fenixes are too big for my tiny wrists but sweet watches. Love my 735XT too!

Nice. I've ordered the 5 and 5s. I think the s will be too small, but I need to see it in person. I liked the 3 I owned for about a day, it didn't transition well into my work day/attire. I think the 5 solves that problem.

Early 1969 Military Issue MIL-W-3818B Spec watch. After 48 years it still keeps + or - 10 sec per day :) ( Not to be confused with the much cheaper and disposable by design MIL-W-46374 Spec watches.) I only purchased it from a reputable source recently(I can confirm it is a real 1969 not a fake) so I still have not figured out if the metal strap was the stock band or if it was a authorized modification. Manufacture on the watch and band are matching and the band is from the right 3-4 year time frame so who knows!

Speedy Pro Mkll, it's (I believe) either a '69 or '70. My dad bought it new and I inherited it from him. It hasn't been worked on in over 25 years but still keeps decent time.
