Just redid my GHB

I just redid my get home bag. I realized it had almost become a bug out bag as opposed to just something to get me back home.

For some perspective, it's about 11 miles driving it from home to work. Walking it would be basically the same. I'd been using an LBT extended day ruck, swapped it out for a Blackhawk Hydrastorm. Having much less space to fill made it a much better put together GHB.

 

Do you store boots with your GHB, or wear them normally?

 

With it, tied to the outside and easily dumped if I have on appropriate footwear. Can't wear boots at work.

 

do you have to go through any sketchy neighborhoods? What precautions do you take, if you do?

 

I work in Memphis. I couldn't possibly take sufficient precautions to walk through there lol.

Yeah I can get one together.

 

I was down in Memphis 7 or 8 times, for a week or two each, back in the mid '80s. Wasn't crazy about that area then, can't imagine now.... Good luck to you if you have to GH bad.
