I picked a few up when I was in the middle east. I never wrap my head with them but I use them out fishing when it's hot. I will get it wet and put it around my neck and shoulders to keep me cooler. It also works well for keeping my neck from getting sun burned.

I think they're pretty darn useful and serve many different purposes.. I've had/used one for the past few years.. Though my younger son snagged it and I doubt I will get it back..

Definitely useful... I use mine like XL bandannas, wipe sweat, keep the sun off my neck, etc.

Used mine for just about every thing at Field Survival even tied it into a pouch. It was great for keeping bug from crawling on your face too.

What every self-respecting ass kicker wears when he takes his kids out to play on the big toy at McDonald's.

I've not used one but the name causes me trouble. It never fails that when I see it, I read it as this (NSFW).

I was at Smokey Mountain Knife Works last week and picked one up for cheap. Its fun to mess with and tie up. I have a gnarly beard so I can be taken as a suspicious person...
that is hilarious! Never misread it this way but will now!

I like mine, they're good in cold weather to block wind and retain warmth, and in hot weather to block sun and wick sweat.
Also good as a towel, and as a concealed "money belt" to carry small articles if rolled up and wrapped around your body underneath your shirt.

roll one up several times and drop a rock into it. Start swinging if need be. Both a launcher and a close range improvised hand weapon :D

I mean they make great towels, pet blanket. kid blanket, head wrap, etc

Been wearing them since the late 1980s...before it was the done thing. Still do for all the reasons cited above.
