    I think it's a little smaller. It's 8 X 12 X 5.

Everything we put in this kit is top notch. ( The 8mm rope is made by Sterling Rope in USA. ) We have used all of it and it all works well. The bag has been tossed fully loaded from the top of our rappel tower and stayed intact and all contents survived well. We do have our own Mess tin now rather than the Triangia tin shown because we couldn't get supply on them.
The only thing in this kit that will eventually need to be replaced if you store it for long periods is the ferro rod. For some reason ferro rods will eventually turn to white powder when you store them. I haven't found any way to prevent this although some guys say they coat them with fingernail polish if they are going to store them. Chapstick might also work.
We have other kits in the works.))))

Thanks, Mike! We do have the complete kits in stock. Also, we have the Survival Bag by itself in both orange and OD, and the map cases in both orange and OD.

The ferro rod blanks we order from Treibacher have a clear lacquer coating that slows down oxidation, but doesn't stop it entirely. I have some that have been stored in open air for almost two years now, and they're still in good shape.

Hey guys. I ordered this kit in Germany at www.outdoormesser.de. Arrived last week. Not cheap, but filled with the absolute best equipment available in the market. Since 2014 I am hiking around the world, walking through each and every country, apart civilization where it´s possible. 2016 I found myself in a very dangerous situation in Norway. I had to drop my complete equipment (backpack) and run for life out of a burning forest. I had a very small selfmade survival kit which worked. But it was not really fun :) When I came back home to buy everything new to continue my journey I decided to get the best kit available on planet earth. And I got the Esee Advanced Survival Kit. I added just very few individual things as FirstAid, a compass with global needle system, some cordage, a bigger ferro rod, a headlamp (petzl e-lite). Now I have the absolute perfect survival kit. I hope I never have to use it. But when, I can lean back and relax. Thank you very much for this amazing kit, ESEE!

(if anyone can tell me how to attach photos, I will make some for you)

Ok, I made some photos of my kit and the things I added. Mostly medical/FirstAid equipment. It´s a lot of additional stuff but it fits very comfortable in the Advanced Survival Kit. The orange waterbottle is not included. It´s just there to give you an idea of the size of the pack. It´s a one liter Nalgene Everyday bottle.

Amazing piece of gear with all the right stuff. Great price as well for the US.
Unfortunately, due to VAT, shipping and taxes, the price in Europe is quite prohibitive.
Nevertheless I will still buy it at some point.

Yes, that's right, it's a bit expensive in Europe. In Germany I paid 700 Euro. That's really hard. But each and every part of this kit except the pouch is worth every single penny. The pouch is Made in USA, what ever this means. My Kit is about 2 weeks old, never used laying on the cupboard and loosing all its stitchings. So I made the stitchings by myself right.

I made some photos before repair to inform Esee about this . If you see products as the knives or the Survival Kit it is obvious that Esee sells only high quality products to give the highest possible standards to the customer. It's just the stitching of the molle-back and the zipper of the main compartment which are ripped apart. Not nice at a satchel for some hundret Euro but not the end of life. If I would not be able to sew it, I would not need a survival kit. I should stay at home forever :) And who are Jeff and Mike?

I'm missing something here. Can you email me direct about the stitching that came loose? I am not seeing it in this thread.
