    lodge sportsman's grill...just got delivered and couldn't wait until tomorrow...i'm already a convert to cast iron skillets so it's no surprise i'm liking this one too as my first impression...yes, there will be spam on it soon :D

    Just an fyi for y'all...I like cast iron grates but have a hard time keeping them from rusting (im obviously not doing something in caring for them) but ive been using these for about a year and LOVE them.

    A little rust never hurt anyone. I'd cook on cast iron grates over aluminum any day of the week.

    i have got to go woods time for a weekend or three and gather you some BC red cedar planks.........soak em in white wine and plank your salmon on them...........AMAZING!

    IMG_5098.JPG IMG_5099.JPG Cook 500 lbs of BBQ and come home to unwind at the grill.
    I use the whole chicken in a few recipes thoughout the rest of the week and we'll have grilled chicken tonight.
    The whole chicken is seasoned with Meadow Creek BBQ seasoning. Good folks and great, well made products. I like it most on poultry. Had lots of brown sugar so it has to be cooked on low heat or turned often. The chicken breast is seasoned with Smokey C's BBQ Pit Powder.
