Call it whatever you want--once you buy it. I've been calling it the coconut knife since that's what I see people in latin america doing with this kind of knife--lopping coconuts open so you can drink them.
Im calling mine "The Perrin" I didnt come up with the name and I still find it hard to say. I spent the whole first day at Blade correcting mysef after I kept telling everyone it was the Libertarian.
The first time I read the name my mind translated it Libtards, but since that is not politically correct I did not post it.
1075 is better stuff than a lot of folks give it credit for. In a mass production situation it's much easier to reliably and properly heat treat than 1095 is and achieves excellent hardness for hard-use tools.
Just picked up this Bushbaby HC from @Bushcraft_Dave to go along with my Bushcrafter HC. Both are in 1075.
