Thats awesome! I never was a whittler but with the camplore line i feel the need to front porch sit and cut some wood. Beer and a smoke are optional. :)

That's a great looking setup you got there. What wood are the scales made from?

IMG_1032.JPG Needed a Sunday afternoon project. Digging through storage tubs I found enough materials to make a new sheath for JG3. Still drying from a mild wet forming but it rides high and tight on the belt, easy to grab and tight fit for the knife. Never throw away scrap leather, this stuff is almost 30 yrs old. Might dye it but may just rub in kiwi brown.

Looks great to me, I tried detailing a sheath one time, it was awful, haven't tried since.

Sounds good, I has a **** ton of leather tools, my dad used to did leather work for a while years ago and gave me all his old tools recently. Lots of things I have no clue how to use.

All you need is a good set of teeth and some rusty pliers. You'll do great. Oh yeah, Strig adds a little beard balm to the project.

As soon as they sell me a PR4 I'll try my hand at a decorated sheath.

The PR4 will demand a nice sheath.

Really like that sheath as well. Can't wait to see what you and others make for the PR4.
