After handling this knife, I have no doubt this will become a best seller. It has great ergonomics and fit my hand like a glove. Pair this knife with a good sheath and the ESSE marketing should read "if you can only have one!" Put me down for at least one. Another observation: this one will be harder to counterfeit! I'd love to see a deep bushcraft sheath for this knife to ride in.

No doubt about it. That and the new Expat have peaked my interest.

I'm not a bush crafter. Too much work and not enough comfort. I would rather use a road flare than a bow drill. So, I don't really get into bushcraft things. I saw this knife and thought, I'm not a bush crafter, so it's not for me. However, picking this thing up, wow, it feels great in the hand.

You know how some knives you pick up feel pretty much like you expect--no surprises. It's just a handle. Not so with this thing. I'm not sure what it is about it exactly, but if you don't like it on the computer screen, give it a chance in person. You might find you like it very much. And if you like what you see, you will absolutely love it once you get it in your hand. Seriously, this one gets my vote for Most Surprisingly Good Knife.

@Patrick Rollins has been busting his hump testing this design for a loooong time. It is going to be a winner for sure.
